"When Molly first arrived at my rescue she was in very bad shape. An
aged Thoroughbred mare who had once been a show horse, Molly was now
extremely underweight, anemic, and suffering from an infestation of equine
lice. This was beside the obvious physical abuses that she'd suffered at
her last home. She was in bad shape.
Weakened by her ordeals, Molly began a long, slow road to recovery. A
sweet horse, I dreamt of her eventual adoption to a loving home. Those
dreams were shattered when Molly shocked herself severely on an electric
fence. Already weak, the shocks left the mare stunned and unresponsive.
She didn't eat for four days. When she did finally begin eating again she
also started having seizures, several a day for nearly a weak. When she
walked it was sideways, like a crab, with her hind legs dragging off to
one side. It was both terrifying and heartbreaking.
Sara [Light-Waller, MA LMP, LAMP, SAMP, ESMT] has been a volunteer at
Kuitan for some time now. I called her in the see if Acutonics® could
help Molly. Sara seemed to think that it could. As she set out a series of
colored tuning forks, I stood by and watched. Could this help? I didn't
know but I figured it certainly couldn't hurt.
Sara worked on Molly a total of three times over the next four weeks. Five
or six hours after the first session Molly was walking normally again. 24
hours later the sparkle was back in her eyes. The seizures had stopped.
After the second treatment Molly was moving and acting like her old self!
Two weeks later, after the third session, Molly was a different animal.
She was healthier than I'd ever seen her. She was eating well, moving
normally, and had bright eyes and a dappled coat. In a few weeks the mare,
who had been too weak to take antibiotics, was returned to health and
strength.
After just three Acutonics sessions
Molly was healthy, sassy, and ready for adoption. It was a miracle! Thank
you, Sara!"
